Q and A (question-and-answer Q&A sessions) can be “dry” so always end on a high note. Try 3 ideas:
- Ask yourself a question! This is helpful especially when the audience questions were skewed toward a certain direction and you can use the opportunity to provide additional information or clarifications.
- Provide a 1-minute closing to sum up your main points, especially if there were difficult questions. Having the last word puts you in control of how to end the Q&A session.
- Provide extra value! Because some people consider Q and A “less important”, you could advertise during your presentation that at the end of the Q and A session you will give the audience (or the people who submit a question) an additional handout, a link to additional information, a discount code to your course.
