How to impress your boss with work presentation skills?

Many presenters inform, few impress the boss. Get noticed by the boss by improving 3 presentation skills and making them your habits:

  1. Cut the froufrou, get to the point. Give the boss headlines before details – the longer you speak, the less they are impressed.
  2. Less structured meeting Q&A are in fact the most frequent work “presentations”. Want to look confident? Say “good question” (or ask them to repeat the question) followed by a pause to gather your thoughts. Stumped? Don’t get noticed by vexing the boss with “I’m confused” or being overly apologetic – assure them you must consult [person/data] and will follow up by X time.
